United States Attorney General Jeff Sessions says medical cannabis worsens America’s drug crisis. Emerging science contradicts him.
Outspoken marijuana opponent Attorney General Jeff Sessions is pushing for Congressional permission to prosecute medical marijuana providers in states that have legalized the drug for medical use.
Sessions points to America’s “historic drug epidemic” to justify the crackdown, referencing the nation’s climbing rates of opioid-related overdose deaths.
